Lab Presents Findings at Society for Neuroscience Meeting

Several members of the BRAIV Lab traveled to present their latest research at the Society for Neuroscience (SfN) annual meeting. The presentations covered topics including white matter integrity, blood-brain barrier dysfunction, and mitochondrial changes in aging brain tissue.

Graduate students and postdoctoral fellows showcased posters and gave talks highlighting collaborative work across our Aging Biology Unit and Dementia & Neurovascular Biology Unit. The sessions generated productive discussions with colleagues from institutions worldwide.

Conference participation is an important part of how we share our findings and build partnerships that advance neuroscience research on brain aging and dementia.
